Federal Fusion #209 In Line Muzzleloading Primers

Federal Premium Fusion in line muzzleloading primers were developed and tested specifically for use in 50 caliber in line muzzleloading rifles. For extremely fast, extremely hot ignition, these primers were developed in collaboration with Thompson Center.

They were designed to be dependable in harsh, late-season conditions and wet weather.

One advantage of using primers designed specifically for muzzleloading rifles is that they are milder than regular 209 shotshell primers, which means they do not force the powder charge forward, allowing for consistent velocities and reducing the formation of crud rings.
