The Rapide (Kimber Black Ice) has stepped cocking serrations, slide lightening cuts for faster lock time, a DLC coated barrel for extreme durability, a flush fitting extended magwell, a new V-Cut match grade trigger that breaks crisply at 4-5lbs, and Tru-Glo® TFX Pro Day/Night sights. The new for 2020 RAPIDE (Black Ice) features Kimber StiplexTM front strap texturing, as well as black G10 grips for added grip confidence, and is finished with KimPro®II for added resistance to chemicals, moisture, salt, and UV light. The RAPIDE (Black Ice) comes with one 8-round Tac-Mag magazine.

All of these features are combined with the standout features found throughout the Kimber 1911 Custom Platform. To realize its true accuracy potential, barrels are machined from stainless steel to critical match grade dimensions, hand fitted to the frame, slide, and bushing, and fitted with match grade chambers. Slides with lowered and flared ejection ports to help brass eject, match grade triggers that break crisp and clean for increased confidence and accuracy, and commander style hammers that will not snag.
