New fluoride lenses and prism coatings increase light transmission by 3% for brighter images in any light. A new AquaDura™ lens coating rolls rain off of external lenses and facilitates cleaning. A solid magnesium housing keeps weight at a minimum while adding considerable ruggedness, while the center axis pin is 100% ultradurable titanium. An all-metal, self-lubricating focusing system provides smooth focusing.The 42-layer High-Lux System prism coating produces nearly 100% light transmission per glass-to-air surface. Features Leica’s industry-leading waterproof submersion rating of 16.5 ft. Includes a Cordura® case, cushioned neck strap, objective lens caps, and a one-piece rainguard that covers and protects the two ocular lenses.
