That’s the long and short of it. The SX4 Winchester Compact has a long list of features. You get all of the Winchester SX4’s functional and ergonomic benefits… but in a slightly smaller package that’s ideal for shorter, smaller, lighter shooters. The inch and a quarter off the stock allows for a more natural shoulder pad mounting. Bringing the hands (and balance) slightly backward makes it easier to point and, especially, to hold it to the shoulder until the shot is fired.

The advantages do not stop there. As it “keeps your head down,” the TruGlo fiber optic sight is a huge help for acquiring fast targets and ensuring you stay in perfect alignment. When you shoot, the recoil pad with Inflex Technology takes the punch out of the recoil by pulling your head down and away from the comb, and the special design sucks up recoil headed to your shoulder. Overall, it is the ideal autoloading shotgun for smaller people.
